floral headdress

Last weekend I did a workshop in floral headdress making with my bestfriend and this is what I made.

Oh boy, it's Roy!

I am a huge fan of Roy Lichtenstein and since there is an exhibition on at the tate modern, I simply couldn't resist. I went about two weeks ago with one of my bestfriends and I had such a wonderful time. It was so exciting to see pieces that I never seen before and how his subjects evolved. I highly recommend the exhibition and I do recommend that you do pre-book tickets. the reason being is that I arrived at the tate modern around 1pm and was hoping that I would just get tickets and get in. Unfortunately the next session available wasn't till 5pm, so I had to wait around a while. But it was definitely worth the wait!

budget shopping

I have had this week off work, simply so I could just relax and enjoy a bit of me time. I also went out a did a bit shopping on a budget which was something new to me, lol, and surprisingly I got quite a few things.

In the first picture I have a black zara vest, miss selfridge tee, forever 21 flower studs, forever 21 dome studs, forever 21 black and gold beaded necklace and topshop beguiled lipstick.

In the second picture I have zara printed shorts, pull and bear tee, rimmel soft kohl eyeliner, barry m concealer brush and I also got some caps from superdrug.

In the third picture I have some bangles from the urban outfitters sale.

I quite surprised when I went out shopping at how many stores were having sales.
